4 days, 76 cats. Together. We've Got This, With Your Help.
It’s hard to believe – even for us. In just 4 days 76 cats, kittens and nursing mothers were abandoned in our community.
Ten tiny lives were found huddled inside a box left in a public park.
Nine more cats arrived after an eviction left them with nowhere to go.
Other cats came to us with no home, some expecting litters, and others already caring for tiny kittens – each with their own story, all deserving a second chance.
And then – fourteen female cats were discovered inside a wire dog crate, abandoned in another park with nothing but a handwritten note:
“Please find these cats a home. I am unable to care for them! I’m sorry.”
We now have 221 cats and kittens across our shelters, all the precious lives are now safe in our care – but we’re stretched to the limit.
Each cat is weighed, given flea and parasite control, vaccinated, and receives a full physical exam. Our dedicated animal care team examines each cats teeth, ears, eyes, trimming nails, checking for illness and signs of stress.
Then comes the most crucial step: spaying or neutering, to break the cycle of overpopulation and given them the best chance at a loving forever home.
We’ve planned for busy seasons. We couldn’t have planned for this.
But that’s where you come in!
Please consider making a donation today to help us provide care, medical treatment, and a safe haven for these 76 cats – and the hundreds more who rely on us.
No cat should be left in a park, in a box, or behind a locked door. Please consider giving now to be part of their rescue story.
With deep thanks for your compassion,
