Meet the Trainer
As the Niagara SPCA's Behaviour & Training Coordinator, Verena Schleich brings years of experience in animal welfare, veterinary care, and professional training.
She's a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner & Family Paws Parent Educator, and a graduate of the Aggression in Dogs Master Course, know for her compassionate, force-free approach rooted in positive reinforcement and empathy.
Verena has worked with dogs of all ages and backgrounds, from shelter rescues to family pets, helping build calmer, more confident connections between humans and their animals.

Group Training (6 weeks) $300
Classes include: eye contact, stay, sit & down, relax in place, leash skills, polite greeting, recall, and clicker training basics.

1-on-1 Private Training (First Session) $115
Best suited for fear, anxiety, aggression or reactivity, behaviour challenges needing individualized support and building trust and calm focus at home. Typically offered Wednesday 11am - 4pm with some limited weekend/evening flexibility.

Follow-Up Session (1-on-1) $75
