The weekend of August 29th saw another exciting northern rescue transfer from remote northern Manitoba communities to southern Ontario. Around 25 dogs made the long trip south and are currently resting at our shelters. Some have minor medical issues that are being tended to by our veterinary staff and a couple are a bit nervous still and need time to adjust. The dogs are under a 14 day quarantine as a health precaution. More info and pictures will come along during this period. Applications for adoption will be taken once the quarantine is over and visitation at the shelters is still by appointment due to COVID-19 restrictions.
To help with the aftercare of these dogs, donations are still being accepted online HERE
We would like to thank all of you who have already helped make this mission a success.
